Entries are now being sought for
the prestigious MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL MOVIE
FESTIVAL conducted by the Oakleigh Movie Club Inc.
The "GALA SCREENING" of award winning entries will be held at the Waverley Masonic Centre,
318 Stephensons Road, Mount Waverley
at 8:00pm on Saturday 9th
October 2010. A matinee
screening will also be held at 2:30pm on the 9th October 2010.
A screening of additional entries will be held at the Oakleigh Senior Citizens Clubrooms, Monash Library,
148 Drummond Street, Oakleigh on Thursday evening 28th October 2010 at 8:00pm. If you wish to attend the second
screening (which is at no cost) please contact Margaret Hawkins on +61 3 9785 6747 for catering purposes.
The annual competition attracts a large number of entries from around
Australia and Overseas and is open
to all non-professional moviemakers (refer to definition and entry conditions for further details).
The movie judged the best of
the festival is awarded the much sought after Gold Cineman. Movies (Film &
Video) may be entered in one of the following sections:
- Documentary / Travelogue
- Animation
- General
- Photoplay

The
running time of the entry must not exceed 30 minutes.
